Where Are You Now
Each day it gets harder
Than before
I keep on wanting you
More and more
I tried forgetting
Just what I feel
Darling I see you
And the feeling’s real
[Chorus]
Where are you now
Are you thinking of me
And if you are alone
You don’t have to be
Where are you now
Will you see me again
Do you remember that night
And the things you said
The days are lonely
All by myself
You know I see you
When I’m with someone else
So let me find you
Please let me know
I really love you
And I think you know
[Chorus]
Where are you now
Are you thinking of me
And if you are alone
You don’t have to be
Where are you now
Will you see me again
Do you remember that night
And the things you said?
You said rainbows are between us
They can lead us or disappear
Rainbows are behind us
They will find us when you are here
[Chorus]
Where are you now
Are you thinking of me
And if you are alone
You don’t have to be
Where are you now
Will you see me again
Do you remember that night
And the things we said?
We said rainbows are between us
They will free us or disappear

MAKE IT HAPPEN
(Love Me Again)
Tomorrow will you still want me?
Are your words really true?
Are you really in love
‘Cause I’m falling in love with you
It’s not easy
When you live your life
Divided in two
I’m falling in love
I’m falling in love with you
Make it happen
Before the moment ends
Make it happen
Please don’t pretend
Make it happen
Just one more time and then
Love me again
Please don’t pretend
Tomorrow is in your eyes
And I think I can see
You’re falling in love
Are you falling in love
Falling in love with me
Make it happen
Run to my arms and love me today
Don’t go away
Make it happen
Each time you touch me then
I want you to stay
Make it happen

Revised Lyrics 9-9-18
One Day At A Time
What went wrong
Everything I have is gone
Now I’m living in a part-time dream
And wondering where I belong
Crazy nights, Take me down a slow decline Wasting days and wasting time.
(Verse 2)
What went wrong
Can I change what’s gone
Is it make believe or is it real
And can I still go on?
Music plays
from the shadows left behind
As your laughter fills my mind.
(Chorus)
One day at a time
Fading with the vacant faces in the crowd
One day at a time
Staying out of places
That I used to hang around.
You know the memory obscures
I feel the pounding of the traffic near me
But no one sees or hears me
As I disappear....
(Instrumental)
One day at a time I feel the closeness of you always near me
But no one sees or hears me,
Calling out your name, I keep calling out your name ….
Wondering what went wrong, Everything I have is gone, What went wrong, Everything I have is gone
What went wrong, Everything I have is gone
What went wrong

Lo-Flo Records to Release
Songs from the Vault: Reel #2
Featuring the Voice of Tami Lynn
The Second Installment of a Series Dedicated to
Exploring the Archives of
Prolific Songwriter Jane McNealy
Out September 17, 2021
LOS ANGELES, CA – August 26, 2021 – Lo Flo Records to release Songs from the Vault: Reel #2, the second installment in an ongoing archival series which aims to explore the immense songwriting catalog of artist Jane McNealy. Truly unable to be pigeon-holed, McNealy follows up Reel #1’s soft folk Americana offering with these three soulful R&B ballads written in 1979/1980 featuring the incredible performances of vocalist Tami Lynn. Songs from the Vault: Reel #2 will be out September 17, 2021. To learn more about McNealy and her work, please visit
linktr.ee/loflorecords.
This upcoming release collects three compositions from McNealy’s catalog: “Where Are You Now,” the opener, “Make It Happen,” and the jazz standard “One Day At A Time.” Although each track is unique in its own right, these songs are connected by McNealy’s keen ability to write about matters of the heart. The first song, expressing bittersweet memories conjured by a past love, sets the tone for Reel #2. These deep emotional stakes of romance continue with “Make It Happen.” If the previous song is a plea to an old lover to take her back, “Make It Happen” is a wish that the first stirrings of love will grow to something beautiful and lasting. Finally, the direction of Reel #2 changes with the jazzy “One Day At A Time.” This song is actually an alternate recording of a track included in McNealy’s June 2021 album of the same name. It features McNealy’s talent for emotional storytelling through the eyes of a weary traveler speeding through a metropolis on a train. With Songs from the Vault, Reel: #2, McNealy truly showcases the power of love and longing as captured by song, and Tami Lynn’s performances glide effortlessly from passionate and assured to searching and heavy heartbreak.
